I honestly think everything I am about to ask for help on involves the SuperDrive software/drivers/whatever makes it run but I am not sure. This problem is a mix of hardware and software but I think this would be the best place to post. I tried to burn a DVD in iDVD yesterday and when I put the disc in, iDVD says 'Waiting for device to become ready.' I never had this problem before today and the only thing I can think of that might affect it is about a month ago (coinsedunteally the last time I tried to burn a DVD) and I remember installing something that had to do with SuperDrive. What I do remember is the DVD was stuck in the drive and it would not eject. I read something on a Mac support page saying the SuperDrive update would fix this problem. Coming from a PC world, I didn't realize I didn't have a SuperDrive and still am a little confused with what exactly that is.

Now there is a eject button in the top right of my task bar and when I click on it it says 'Eject SuperDrive.' I there was also another message I got yesterday when trying to burn the same video onto a DVD. I can't remember the exact wording but it was something like 'You do not have a SuperDrive installed so you will be unable to burn a DVD.' Any help you could offer on uninstalling the SuperDrive software or whatever it is and get my DVD drive back to the way it is supposed to be would be greatly appreciated.
